Charmbiance Candle Care
 When you indulge in a Charmbiance candle, we understand that you expect excellent performance and high safety standards. Charmbiance does not offer a candle that has not been completely tested and approved in both of these extremely important areas.
However, when a Charmbiance candle is shipped out and arrives at your home or office, we are no longer in control of how it will be burned or cared for. It is up to you to protect your investment and give your candle full life and burn it safely with the utmost care. So, please follow the helpful suggestions below to combine our efforts in giving you the best candle and aromARTherapy experience possible.
1. Always keep wick trimmed to 1/4", this will prevent black smoke & maintain even burning. Extinguish flame before trimming wick. Don’t trim wick too short, candle may not stay lit.
2. Remove paper tag from around the candle prior to burning. Read all warnings and instructions on candle prior to lighting it, failure to do so could result in fire or injury.
3. Burn candle all the way out to the edge. A full melt pool guarantees an even burn and maximum fragrance throw.
4. Avoid drafts. Drafts can cause tall wicks, which causes the candle to burn hotter and unevenly.
5. Burn candle on a stable, heat resistant surface, or place on a heat-proof plate. The candle jar is VERY hot while burning, keep it far enough away from flammable objects.
6. To prevent discoloring, do not place candle in direct sunlight and avoid extreme temperatures.
7. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
8. Do not allow water or moisture to mix with the wax. This can cause the wax to make a popping noise and burn poorly.
9. Center the wick after extinguishing candle. Do not allow trimmed wicks, matches, or other objects to remain in the melt pool. Stop burning candle when 1/8" of the wax remains at the bottom.
For maximum, even burning, burn Charmbiance candles at the Recommended Burning Time:
Pillars Candles: Burn minimum 5-7 hours every time you light it. There is no maximum burn time. The longer you burn our round candles, the less wasted wax you will have & the more the candle will “hug” itself. The rounds will burn down to nothing if you burn them long enough. Important: to avoid dripping, keep wick trimmed to 1/4", and follow our burning instructions above.
Jar Candles: Minimum burn time for a jar is until the hot wax pool reaches the edge of the jar. Jars have no maximum burn time. The longer you burn a jar, the less wasted wax you will have and the stronger the aroma will be. The jars will burn down to nothing if you burn them long enough. Important: keep wick trimmed to 1/4", and follow our burning instructions above. | |
